Verdict
The best month end AI on this page and the worst pricing page. Double names four accounting systems on the pricing page itself, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage and NetSuite, with Sage Intacct added for internal finance teams, and three AI features that do the work rather than describe it: AI Bank Feeds, AI Transactions and Ask Double. The customer numbers are specific enough to check: Springstead Solutions ten days faster close, Attivo Partners 1,000 hours saved a month, MCO Bookkeeping 95 percent client portal adoption. Then the price is a demo booking. A firm can find out the Tax Suite arrives with a $200 a month annual commitment and that a second practice mailbox is $10, and nothing else. There is one more thing a buyer should know: keeper.app now redirects to doublehq.com, and neither page read this run explains the change.
What customers praise
Naming QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage and NetSuite on the pricing page is the second best integration disclosure here, behind Financial Cents only because that one names the tax software too. The three published customer results carry numbers rather than adjectives, and 1,000 hours a month at Attivo Partners is a claim specific enough to be wrong in public, which is more than most vendors risk. Ask Double is aimed at the right question, which is what changed in this client's books, not write me an email.
What customers criticise
No per client price is published. The pricing page describes a per client mix and match model and then sends you to book a demo, which under this page's rules costs it the whole twenty points for a plannable price. The two figures it does publish are odd ones to lead with: $200 a month of annual commitment before a tax suite arrives, and $10 a mailbox. The customer results are Double's own with no method. And keeper.app redirecting here without explanation is the kind of thing a firm signing a multi year contract ought to ask about directly.
Best for
A bookkeeping or outsourced accounting firm where the bottleneck is the review at month end, and where the same senior person is the only one who can do it.

Red flags
Public risk signals as of September 2026: low. Live product. The per client mix and match model with no published figure, the $200 a month annual commitment for the Tax Suite, the $10 per connected team email, the AI Bank Feeds, AI Transactions and Ask Double features and the QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage and NetSuite integrations were all read on doublehq.com/pricing on 19 September 2026. The Springstead, Attivo Partners and MCO Bookkeeping results are Double's own claims read on doublehq.com the same day. keeper.app returned a 301 redirect to doublehq.com on 19 September 2026 and neither page explains the change; that is stated here rather than interpreted.
