Verdict

Fulcrum is an ERP with its AI inside it, which removes one join a shop would otherwise build. Archie, in the vendor's words, lets you ask anything about your shop, then change a due date, leave a note on a job or update a record. The agent examples it lists are the symptoms an owner names: a drawing dropped in that becomes a quote, an overdue invoice chased, a job whose margin falls below target. It names QuickBooks Online, SolidWorks, Paperless Parts, Datanomix and Trumpf TruTop Boost among its connections, and its ITAR customers run the models in a FedRAMP environment on Azure.

What customers praise

The vendor is unusually frank on its integrations page: some listed connections are live and some are ones it sees potential in, and no integration is truly plug and play. That honesty helps a buyer ask the right question. It claims launches 80 percent faster, a vendor claim.

What customers criticise

The pricing page returned not found, so nothing is priced. The agents are marked coming soon, and the custom app builder is in beta, so the AI that chases invoices and quotes from drawings is partly a roadmap. Moving to it means replacing your ERP, which is a bigger project than any other entry above it.

Best for

A job shop of roughly 10 to 150 people replacing JobBOSS, ProShop or Global Shop, whose owner finds out a job lost money only after it shipped.
