Verdict
The narrowest entry here and the best one inside its own boundary. ProShop sells ERP, a quality management system and a manufacturing execution system as one product, aimed at precision machine shops in aerospace, defense, medical and space, and it draws the distinction this list cares about in its own words: every other ERP is a system of record, but ProShop is a system of execution. For a shop where the quality binder, the traveller and the job cost sheet are three separate paper trails, that is the whole argument. It says 700 plus precision manufacturers run on it. It also declines to publish a price, stating only that plans are priced on users with a standard and a government option.
What customers praise
It is the only entry that treats compliance as part of the operating system rather than as a module, which is the correct design for a shop whose customers audit it. Naming AS9100 and CMMC on the front page is a statement about who it is for, and it saves the wrong buyer a call. The claim that it enforces workflows rather than recording them is the difference between a system that tells you what went wrong and one that makes the right thing happen next.
What customers criticise
No price. The pricing page is a form, which costs it the fifth of the rubric that rewards a figure an owner can budget. It is also the narrowest fit on this page: built around machining, so a food producer, a cosmetics maker or an assembly shop is reading the wrong entry, and should not be persuaded otherwise by how good it is at its own job. The throughput and return figures on the homepage are the vendor's own survey of its own customers, not an independent measurement.
Best for
A precision machine shop in aerospace, defense, medical or space that has to hold AS9100 and CMMC and wants the quality system, the shop floor and the ERP to be the same system rather than three

Red flags
Public risk signals as of September 2026: none. Live product. The ERP, QMS and MES product structure, the aerospace, defense, medical and space focus, the AS9100 and CMMC references and the customer count were read on proshoperp.com on 15 September 2026. Its pricing page states pricing is based on users with a standard and a government option and publishes no figure. No adverse public signals found. See the full red-flag report.
