Choco and Pepper sit on top of an ERP. Entrée includes the accounting and inventory modules itself.
Worth knowing
- No price was published by any of the three vendors on the pages read in October 2026. Choco says it charges a monthly fee based on usage. Pepper says it offers custom quotes. NECS asks you to request information.
- Entrée is an ERP, while Choco and Pepper are ordering and sales layers that connect to an ERP. Many distributors would compare Choco and Pepper with each other, and Entrée with other ERPs.
- NECS gives two customer counts on its own site: 1,500+ food distributors on the V5 and V4 pages, and 2,000+ on the about page. Some Entrée modules, such as customer ordering tools and online invoice payment, depend on licensing.
