Descartes Route Planning review

Enterprise name, but no public detail to score.

Verdict

Descartes ranks tenth among the scored entries only because there is so little to read. Its site describes Route Planning and Route Optimization as separate products within Fleet Performance Management, and the pages we opened give no pricing and no numbers.

What customers praise

The vendor describes route optimization as software that intelligently optimizes delivery routes to reduce costs, boost fleet efficiency and improve on time service. Route Planning is described as software that lowers costs, enhances delivery precision and saves time.

What customers criticise

No price, plan, limit, integration or driver app detail was available on the pages we opened. That is a fact about public information, not a judgment on product quality, and a buyer should request a demo before ruling it in or out.

Best for

Large distribution networks with a procurement process that expects a sales led quote.

Red flags
