Verdict
Harvey is the name most partners have heard, and on its own pages it is built for the firms at the top of the market. It says it serves 3,000+ legal organisations, 200,000+ professionals and 80+ of the AmLaw 100, all vendor claims. It runs inside Word and Outlook through add ins, and its Vault syncs materials from document management systems like iManage, SharePoint and Google Drive. That is a real connection, but it is a pull into Harvey's own vault rather than a write back into the matter. NetDocuments and LexisNexis appear as partner logos with no description. There is no price anywhere and no trial. For a twelve lawyer firm in Ohio, that combination usually means it is the wrong first purchase.
What customers praise
Inside Word and Outlook, which is where lawyers spend the day. Vault holds and bulk analyses documents pulled from iManage, SharePoint and Google Drive. Agents that run legal work end to end, APIs and MCP for firms that want to build on it, and a mobile app.
What customers criticise
No price, no trial, and no stated minimum, which in practice keeps a small firm out. The vault pulls documents into Harvey rather than writing work back to the matter, so the system of record still needs a person to update it. NetDocuments appears only as a logo, so a NetDocuments firm cannot tell from the site what the connection does. Three of Harvey's own integration addresses returned 404 on 1 October 2026. The customer and hours saved figures are vendor claims.
Best for
An AmLaw firm or a large in house team with iManage or SharePoint and a budget conversation already under way.
