Verdict
Agents where your customer data already lives, which is worth more than it sounds. HubSpot ships a Customer Agent that resolves inquiries across channels, a Prospecting Agent that monitors buying signals and launches outreach, a Content Agent, a Data Agent and an agent builder, and Agent Hub is included in all Starter, Professional and Enterprise editions rather than sold as a separate product. For a company already paying HubSpot, the marginal decision is only about credits. For a company not on HubSpot, this is a customer relationship management migration wearing an agent costume, and that is a much larger project than buying an agent.
What customers praise
Agent Hub is included across Starter, Professional and Enterprise rather than being a separate purchase, so an existing customer is not making a new vendor decision. The agents are aimed at the two jobs a small business most wants automated, answering customers and chasing prospects, and they run on records that are already correct rather than on a knowledge base somebody has to assemble first. Credits are published at $0.010 each, which is a real unit price you can model.
What customers criticise
Credit allowances are small against real use: 500 credits on Starter goes quickly when agents are doing anything continuous, and the overage is then a variable bill at $0.010 a credit or $10 per 1,000 credit pack. The published Starter seat price of $20 is also frequently discounted to a promotional rate, which makes the standing cost harder to pin down than it should be. And the whole proposition collapses if you are not already a HubSpot customer, because the price of entry is not the seat, it is the migration.
Best for
A small business that already runs its customers, deals and marketing in HubSpot and wants the agents to sit on that data rather than be told about it
