PlanHub review

Both sides of the bid, with prices for subs.

Verdict

PlanHub ranks third because it is the only product on this list that serves both sides of the bid with a visible entry point: subcontractors see Premier at $1,999 per year for a 50-mile radius, and general contractors can post projects for free, send one-click invitations and compare bids in an integrated leveler.

What customers praise

Subcontractors get unlimited bids and can submit to all general contractors on a project at once, and a free profile receives direct invitations within a local radius. General contractors get a Bid Board with deadline reminders and team assignments, a Virtual Bid Coordinator for outreach, and an Integrated Leveler for side-by-side comparison.

What customers criticise

The page we opened lists no price for general contractors and links to a separate GC pricing page, so the cost on the buyer side is unknown to us. Enterprise for subcontractors has no price shown, and radius drives the cost: $2,349 per year at 100 miles and $3,299 at 200. The pages we read do not describe converting a winning bid into a subcontract or purchase order.

Best for

Subcontractors and suppliers who want a published annual price for bid invitations and a free profile to start, and general contractors who want to post projects for free and send invitations through a matched network.
