The entry for the company that has not reached the ERP question yet, and the most honest pricing page here. Stocksmith is inventory, costing and manufacturing software for small batch product businesses, and it publishes every plan, every limit and the trial on one page: Studio at $49 a month or $41 billed annually, Indie at $99 or $83 with 1,000 order lines a month, Business at $199 or $166 with up to 5,000, Growth at $349 or $291 beyond that, Pro from $20 for a single sales channel, and a 14 day trial on all of them with no card. Paid plans carry unlimited users, unlimited materials and unlimited products. The rename from Craftybase is stated on the page rather than quietly performed.

What customers praise

Every plan, every limit and the trial length are published, which almost nothing above it manages, and unlimited users on paid plans means a two person workshop is not choosing who gets to see the numbers. For a maker whose real problem is that they do not know what a unit costs, this answers the actual question at $41 a month instead of $299.

What customers criticise

It is not an ERP and does not claim to be. There is no material requirements planning, no routings and no shop floor terminal, so a shop sequencing operations across machines is looking at the wrong entry. Pricing is on order lines a month, so a seasonal business pays most in the month it can least afford to be surprised, and the step from Indie to Business is a doubling. The name changed, which means the reviews and the documentation a buyer finds will be filed under two names for a while.
