Verdict

Certinia is built on the Salesforce platform, and that is both its case and its limit. Inside Salesforce, the pipeline, the project and the financials share one database, so there is less to join. Its pages say real time financial health, automated project tracking and real time visibility, and monitor utilization, budget variances and portfolio health. Work in progress, backlog and receivables are not named on the pages read. The integrations page lists Avalara, Concur, Expensify, DocuSign and MuleSoft, but no QuickBooks, Xero or NetSuite, and no price is printed.

What customers praise

For a Salesforce firm it removes a join instead of adding one. It claims over 1,400 customers and 22M projects managed, and names a long list of Veda AI agents for estimation, resourcing and statements of work. Five9 is quoted with 30K hours saved.

What customers criticise

Wrong for any firm not on Salesforce. No price, no trial. No common small firm accounting connector is named. All customer and outcome figures are vendor claims.

Best for

A services firm or software company that already runs its business on Salesforce and wants the PSA inside it rather than joined to it.
