Goodcall review
Unlimited minutes, metered on unique callers. Right shape for long dental calls, wrong for high volume.

Verdict
The only meter on this page that charges by the person rather than the minute, which is the right shape for dentistry and the wrong shape for a busy practice. Goodcall publishes Starter at $79 a month per agent, Growth at $129 and Scale at $249, or $66, $108 and $208 billed annually at a 15 percent discount, all read on goodcall.com on 16 September 2026. Minutes are unlimited. The cap is unique customers a month: 100, 250 and 500, with $0.50 for each one beyond. A dental call about a crown and an insurance plan runs long, so unlimited minutes suits it. A practice with 600 distinct callers a month is on the Scale plan and paying overage regardless.
What customers praise
Unlimited minutes removes the anxiety that ruins every per minute plan, where the front desk starts wishing patients would hurry up. The three tiers are published monthly and annually, with the discount stated as a percentage rather than implied. Logic flows scale from 1 to 25 across the tiers and team members from 3 to 50, so the same product fits a single practice and a small group. Overage is $0.50 a customer, which is legible.
What customers criticise
The named integrations are Zapier and Google Voice. Zapier does not reach a Dentrix install running on a server in the back office, so for most practices the booking does not arrive in the chair schedule at all. The industries named on the pricing page are salons, business process outsourcing and general appointment scheduling; dental is not among them and nothing in the product knows what hygiene recall means. No HIPAA statement was found on the pages read. On this rubric it loses most of the 35 percent and all of the 15 percent.
Best for
A practice with long calls and few callers, because Goodcall meters unique customers rather than minutes and a twelve minute insurance conversation costs the same as a two minute one
