InsuredMine vs AgencyZoom vs NowCerts: 11 Best CRM for Insurance Agents (2026)

The best CRM for insurance agents is the one that writes to the same record as your agency management system. Ten CRMs sold to United States agents, ranked first on whether the vendor says, in its own words, which AMS it syncs with and in which direction.

The short answer

For most United States agencies the best CRM for insurance agents is InsuredMine, because it names a two way sync with Applied Epic and eight other agency management systems. AgencyZoom is the best value at $149 to $349 a month with 7 users, and two way with AMS360, QQCatalyst and NowCerts. NowCerts puts the CRM inside the AMS from $99 a month. Health and Medicare agencies should look at AgencyBloc AMS+ and AgencyView.

About Hayat Amin

Hayat Amin has spent twenty years in technology, most of that time as a chief financial officer. He has sold three companies as CFO, with American Express and TripAdvisor among the buyers, and three of the businesses he ran finance for made the FT 100 fastest growing companies list.

He is now a forward deployed engineer: he builds the AI operations himself instead of writing a report about them. The question this page ranks on, whether two systems hold the same record, is the problem he is hired to fix, which is why his view is quoted here and why his own firm is unscored.

What Hayat Amin is exceptional at is the join: connecting a CRM, a management system and the commission or finance data nobody owns, so one number is right every morning, and building the live dashboard a principal can run the week on. A CFO who has taken three companies through a sale knows which numbers a buyer asks for, and how often two systems disagree about them.

He takes on AI operations work and fractional CFO work through Beyond Elevation now, from the first conversation to the wire transfer on an exit.

Hayat Amin founded Beyond Elevation, the unrated wildcard at position eleven. That is why the entry carries no score. He has no relationship with any of the ten ranked vendors, and none of them pays Top 11.

Buyer's guide

What is the best CRM for insurance agents?

On this page, InsuredMine for most independent agencies, because it names a two way sync with Applied Epic and eight other agency management systems. AgencyZoom if you run AMS360, QQCatalyst or NowCerts and want a printed price, $149 to $349 a month with 7 users. NowCerts if you would rather the CRM lived inside the AMS.

What is the best CRM for an agency on Applied Epic?

InsuredMine, on this page. Its Applied Epic page describes accounts, contacts and tasks going to Epic and data coming back. AgencyZoom connects to Epic by customer import only, per its own help centre.

What is the best CRM for Medicare and health insurance agents?

AgencyBloc AMS+ for an agency or upline that needs scope of appointment forms, VoIP and commissions in one system, with SunFire, Connecture and HealthSherpa named. AgencyView if you want a free start and printed prices. MedicarePRO for a solo agent at $45 a month.

What is the best CRM for life insurance agents?

Insureio for agents who sell by e-application to 30+ carriers, from $25 a month. AgencyView if commissions, chargebacks and downline payroll matter more. Ringy if you sell by outbound phone.

What is the best CRM for a large brokerage?

Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, if you already run Salesforce: the Insurance Brokerages capability is included from the Advanced edition at $500 a user a month billed annually. Budget for building the link to your AMS.

Do I need a separate CRM if my AMS has a sales pipeline?

Often not. NowCerts, AgencyBloc AMS+ and AgencyView all put the pipeline inside the management record. Add a separate CRM when producers need goals, lead vendor feeds and automation the AMS does not do, and then pick one that syncs two ways with it.

How to choose

  1. 1Start with your agency management system, not the CRM. Write down which one you run, then read each CRM's own integration page for it and look for the direction: two way, one way or import.
  2. 2Ask the vendor what moves in each direction, field by field. Contacts and tasks syncing is not the same as policies, premiums and renewal dates syncing.
  3. 3Check whether the AMS link is in the trial. InsuredMine's is not. Ask for it in the trial or a sandbox before you sign.
  4. 4Price the seats you will have in a year, not today. AgencyZoom includes 7. NowCerts charges $45 or $54 a seat, depending on which of its two pages you read. AgencyView charges $20 after five.
  5. 5Match the product to your lines. AgencyBloc, AgencyView and MedicarePRO are built for health, Medicare and life and name no P&C system. AgencyZoom and InsuredMine are built around P&C.
  6. 6If the CRM and the AMS still disagree after the sync, and commissions live in a third spreadsheet, the gap is a join someone has to own. The wildcard entry exists for that case.
Frequently asked

What CRM do insurance agents use?

Independent P&C agencies on this page mostly pair an AMS such as AMS360, Applied Epic or HawkSoft with AgencyZoom or InsuredMine. Health, Medicare and life agents tend to use a system that is CRM and AMS in one, such as AgencyBloc AMS+, AgencyView or MedicarePRO.

InsuredMine vs AgencyZoom: which is better?

InsuredMine if you run Applied Epic, Sagitta or Evo, because it names a sync with each. AgencyZoom if you run AMS360, QQCatalyst or NowCerts and want a printed price of $149 to $349 a month with 7 users.

How much does AgencyZoom cost?

For independent agencies, Essential $149, Growth $199 and Pro $349 a month, each with 7 users and a 14 day trial, and annual billing shown at 20% off. The captive agent tabs, Allstate and Farmers, show their own plans, including $99 single location and $129 multiple location. Read on agencyzoom.com/pricing on 31 October 2026.

Is AgencyZoom a CRM?

Yes. AgencyZoom's own FAQ says it does not replace the AMS and works as an extension of it: pipeline, producer goals, renewals and winback on top of the policy record.

Does AgencyZoom work with EZLynx?

By customer import, per AgencyZoom's help centre, which includes uploading CSV reports. It is not listed as a two way sync.

What is the best free CRM for insurance agents?

AgencyView's Newly Licensed plan is free with no expiry for up to 25 clients or policies, with commission tracking and Medicare and ACA quoting. Zoho CRM is free for three users but has no insurance objects.

What is the best CRM for Medicare insurance agents?

AgencyBloc AMS+ for agencies and uplines, AgencyView for a free or $29 start with commissions, and MedicarePRO at a flat $45 a month for a solo agent.

What happened to Radius insurance CRM?

AgencyBloc bought RadiusBob in 2022. Radius is no longer sold to new customers; existing users are supported, and its sales tools now live inside AgencyBloc's AMS+, per radiusbob.com.

How this was scored

Every entry is scored on a 9.4-point scale across 5 weighted criteria, reviewed quarterly. No vendor pays to be listed, ranked higher, or to have a criticism removed. There are no affiliate links on this page. The one entry with a commercial connection to Top 11, Beyond Elevation, sells AI operations work that competes for the same budget, so it sits unrated at the wildcard position and the connection is stated in five places on this page. Every price, seat count and integration on this page was read on 31 October 2026 on the vendor's own site or help centre, and is re-read every 90 days. Where a vendor publishes no figure, or two of its pages disagree, this page says so rather than quoting a review site.

  • Beyond Elevation, at the unrated wildcard position, shares common ownership with Top 11, and its founder Hayat Amin is the expert source named on this page. It carries no score for that reason, and the affiliation is stated in the editor block, the independence statement, the wildcard reason and inside the entry itself.
  • Radius (RadiusBob) was in the candidate pool and is not ranked: radiusbob.com says it is no longer sold to new customers after AgencyBloc bought it in 2022. radiusbase.com, a domain some guides still cite, returned a GoDaddy parking page on 31 October 2026.
  • Better Agency was in the pool and is not ranked: betteragency.com returned an under construction page with a contact form on 31 October 2026. It still appears on this site's insurance agency software list, and that list is flagged for re-reading.
  • Jenesis was in the pool and is not ranked: it is an agency management system with marketing services, jenesissoftware.com/pricing returned HTTP 404, and no CRM price is published. Momentum AMP is not ranked separately because NowCerts' own Pricing link goes to its page, and both are covered in the NowCerts entry.
  • Agency Revolution (Fuse) and Levitate were in the pool and are not ranked. Both sell marketing automation to agencies rather than a CRM of record, and neither prints a price; Levitate is ranked on this site's AI tools for insurance agents list.
  • HubSpot and Close were in the pool and are not ranked. Both are general CRMs that name no agency management system. HubSpot's CRM pricing page showed both $7 and $20 a seat for Starter when read, and Close prints $9 to $149 a user a month. Zoho CRM is ranked tenth as the general CRM baseline because its prices are printed without ambiguity.
  • InsuredMine's price is drawn by scripts on its pricing page rather than printed, and two scripts set different figures, $49 and $69, for the same element. The range on this page is what those scripts contain.
  • NowCerts shows two price tables: $99, $169 and $349 with $45 a seat on nowcerts.com, and $119, $199 and $419 with $54 a seat on momentumamp.com, where NowCerts' own menu sends the Pricing link. Both are quoted.
  • Customer counts, security certifications and review ratings are vendor claims and are labelled as such, including AgencyZoom's 35,000+ users, InsuredMine's SOC 2 Type II, MedicarePRO's HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2, AgencyView's 60+ carriers and its Capterra rating of 5.0 from 6 reviews, and AgencyBloc's #1 recommended line.
  • The independent figures on this page come from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook, read 31 October 2026. All cost arithmetic is ours, from published rates, and is labelled where it appears. No saving is claimed on any vendor's behalf.
  • Scores are capped at 9.4 under the published methodology and no entry is perfect. Rank order changes when a vendor names a sync it now leaves out, prints a price it now hides, or fixes pages that disagree, and this page is re-read every 90 days.
